10 Dec Jessica Schwartz & Andrew Morris
Jessica Schwartz and Andrew Morris are an example of a blind date gone right. Set up by a mutual friend, the Chicago-raised Schwartz had lived in Los Angeles for a year before meeting Morris, an L.A. resident for seven years. After a successful first date, the two met again at a Super Bowl party and followed up with a Valentine’s Day date. Three years later they returned to Schwartz’s hometown to tie the knot on Oct. 20 at the Standard Club, where she always knew she wanted to get married. “I grew up going to dinners there, and it fit my old-world Shakespearean theme. It was perfect,” says Schwartz. With neutral tones and an abundance of candles lighting the ceremony and reception, Schwartz chose variations of garden roses, hydrangeas and ivy, using the green and white tones to set a romantic garden theme.
